👌 I love that combo. The Apo 35 renders so special that I like it even more on the Monochrom than on the regular Ms.

It’s not just about being sharp, though. It also does an amazing job of rendering black and white photography.

This combination really brings joy to most of the scenarios I’ve tried.

Hopefully my offerings will help to convince you buying one of these lenses. I traded my 35mm 1.4 summilux for this as most of my images are landscapes.

Lovely! I especially like the spotlight of light on the bottom left tree to open up that part of the image to draw one’s eye from near to far.

Did you happen to use any color filters, or is it a straight image with no filters?

Thank you Jon.. I just used an Orange filter to get some tonal separation in the image.

Looking through the photos on the forum, there's definitely a variance of intensity. Some photos (especially early on) are more muted in colors and textures while other photos have done a terrific job of enhancing those contrasts, colors, etc... Is this post-processing thing, or simply a lighting thing? Seems the M11 series with more megapixels does generally offer more intense photos, but that's definitely not a rule as I think there's an M240 photo on here that's quite striking.

Curious, what's it like editing photos taken with the 35mm APO to get that super-contrasty look?
