I lived five blocks away from my dear friend. This was in The 70s.  Huge trucks were spraying all people's yards, who had agreed,  to the chemicals. My friend, George, and I opted out. One day I drove by his yard. I called George: "Hi George, do you realize that its just you and I who have zero dandelions in our yards? " We were both very proud and happy.       18-56

@ HeinzX

splendid work! What did you use as post treatment  tool for this impressionnist aspect?

Thank  you for your compliment. In the post treament a styling  (Stilisierungsfilterfilter) of Photoshop CS 5 was used , I do not know the English word , as I use the German PS CS 5 , but the name in German is Konturen nachzeichnen. The black and white version was converted with Silver Efex  Pro. Both versions were add. processed by variation of the gradation curve. The results are not always remarkable it depends on the original photo and is hard to predict. It is always a little bit try and error.

Thanks to bother explaning your method. I'm not using Photoshop but I am sure that Capture One I use have some tools too. Your results encourage me to try...

Good pictures.
