3 Trilliums an environmental portrait for these days.

CL 11-16 Tokina (Nikon) about 14mm, finally learning to use this lens on the CL, it was one of my best lenses on my Nikon.

I know the area quite well, I like the way you have controlled the light, puts me to shame...

Thank you.  It was the shot that worked, I have ~50 that didn't 😂

A very difficult morning.  Heavy early morning rain and a lot of wind.  But I'm hopeful it will revive ...

CL with the remarkable Sigma 70mm macro.  Itching to try it on an SL2 once the lock-down ends.  The top photo is the highest ISO at  ISO1000, but I tried to hold everything well below that.  On the CL I'm finding anything at or above ISO1600 is a little to grainy if I get too close, though I suppose by then I'm getting closer than most people will.

As I'd hoped, things were looking up by this evening

In the second picture you can just see a bee doing what a bee needs to do 🙂

Vikas, I very much like your last set. The colors and the IQ are fantastic.

Thank you Louis.  I had some help from 'Mother Nature' 🙂

Few portraits from the famous walls of Wynwood. Usually, this is  the most crowded area of Miami, but now, with Corona restrictions, no one is strolling in the streets and ideal for shooting the art works.

With lockdown easing a little here I took a short drive to walk along the Llangollen Canal today, was nice change of scenery and still quiet enough to feel safe.  CL with 5cm 3.5 LTM Elmar.

The canals in England and their boats used to be a source of great fascination for me when I was a lot younger.  Mental with images of a beautiful and carefree existence.  It’s still very beautiful but the lifestyle no longer looks attractive ...

Lovely pictures.

And a couple more, including the konik ponies who roam free and keep the invasive vegetation down.

Thank you, Jayne & Louis!
These photos were a lesson, if ever it were needed, that taking the photo is just the first step. The raws have taken a lot of adjustment in LR, both global and local, to make these look similar to what I saw with my eyes. If I'd taken jpgs I would probably have deleted them immediately.

Beautiful work @LocalHero1953! You really make that lens sing

It is pretty heavily cropped for the shot of the horses! I've been waiting for that herd to come within range of my various bike rides. This was the first time they were closer than a quarter of a mile, and it just happened to be when I had the wide zoom with me!
