Ever since I have had the CL I have been working around with lens adaptations, most are simple, Nikon or Canon to M or L mounts. This time I went overboard. I had this lens forever, a 2 inch f1.9 Carl Meyer Speed. I bought this lens as a lupe. I found a focusing adapter for M42 to LTM, added an LTM to M adapter and the M to L adapter. It worked well. Right now the lens is taped to the adapter, via its retaining ring. I have been able to focus from infinity to quite close.

It seems this lens was made for Burke and James (B&J) to sell for scientific purposes.

Last night's full moon (12 hours ago). Poor seeing, low near the horizon, and beating the incoming clouds.

CL at prime focus. And as a comparison, my "usual" lunar/solar camera at prime focus (a single image from a stack of 2000 shots, well three separate 2000 image shots, as I had to panoramic stitch it to get it all in).
