Today's trip was a 45km loop around the local fens. Cambridge used to be the last piece of dry land going north from London - beyond was just a network of waterways and marsh where the River Cam dissipated. Cambridge was one of a number of 'ports' on the periphery. My ride took me through a series of small village ports that just didn't happen to develop into a massive university, then down into the fen (now just drained, flat arable land, though some is being reclaimed as nature reserves) and home . These were taken at the place known as Adventurers' Fen with the CL + Summilux-M 35 FLE. Welcome, dear visitor!
