I you are asking Albert, brighter is good, but I much prefer the first landscape, compositionally. I feel the boat it too tight to the right and therefore image feels a little unbalanced if you know what I mean. Looks like a great location though as long as you were not risking life and limb in the traffic. Does the River fork to the left and right here, it looks like it does. I think the sky and clouds were better in the darker one but the river is better in the second one.
