LocalHero1953 Posted April 8, 2018 Share #1245  Posted April 8, 2018 CL + Summilux-M 35. Taken for its curiosity value rather than because it's a great shot or demonstrates the capabilities of this combo. Some of the old abbey buildings in Bury St Edmunds, 'repurposed' since Henry VIII's time for the use of the cathedral, and now 'repurposed' again as a registry office. Welcome, dear visitor! LocalHero1953 Posted April 9, 2018 Share #1252 Â Posted April 9, 2018 I don't know. But from its less streamlined lines, and the shape of the crew, I suspect it's a stable training one for novices!
helged Posted April 9, 2018 Share #1253  Posted April 9, 2018 Springbrook Nature Reserve yesterday evening. 11-23mm at 11mm on each. springbrook creek by Carl B, on Flickr   southern trail at springbrook by Carl B, on Flickr   springbrook footbridge by Carl B, on Flickr  Hmmm. Beginning to think I should look for a small 11mm or such prime as a walkabout scenery lens.   In that case, the Voigtländer 10mm, 12mm or 15mm come into mind. See Vier's reviews. The 15mm Super-Heliar 15mm version III is a small, fine lens; I have no experiences with the 10mm or 12mm lenses. A side note: NiSi (Vietnam) makes filter holders for the wide Voigtländers, at least for the Super-Heliar 15mm.
carl_b Posted April 10, 2018 Share #1254  Posted April 10, 2018 (edited) That 10mm looks very tempting! Imagining that on the SL, too. Hmmm!  Here are few from this morning. Had a bit of snow overnight, had a window to catch it before work and the skies turning overcast.  swan pair by Carl B, on Flickr  rice creek trail by Carl B, on Flickr  rice creek by Carl B, on Flickr Edited April 10, 2018 by carl_b
