The M6 was easier to rewind but I preferred the MP because it was notably smoother and just so damn beautiful.  But, alas, I sold it because I knew I would baby the thing and never really use it hard as a camera.  I love brassed cameras (like my old Nikkormat) but was just afraid to set it down on the ground and watch the black paint gradually wear away.

I have a hard time wrapping my head around this logic that I see a lot of people on here espousing regarding the MP -  not wanting to use it because it looks so pretty.  So they sell the MP and use a camera they don't desire as much.  I pulled the clear sticker off the base plate of my MP the day I bought it and the bottom is totally scratched and dinged up, but who really cares?  I've taken a lot of great pictures with it in the meantime and enjoyed the process.  I never plan to sell my MP so I'm not worried about the wear impacting resale.
