Franka373 Posted August 6, 2022 Share #1 Posted August 6, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) It’s my understanding that Leica cameras and lenses carry an international warranty and that warranty transfers with change in ownership. For instance if a buy a Leica camera in the USA and then later sell it the purchaser can gain benefit of the remaining warranty by registering the camera with Leica. Of course it assumes I delete my registration if it was registered under my name. Is this true? Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your help. yes if there is still any warranty left. and anyway the new owner can still get the camera serviced at cost after registering it. the new owner should ideally have some kind of invoice as well to make things easier for the regis transfer
