it’s not the same, I know, but it helps me a bit to set the jpg style to BW and then the lcd will show black and white images until the raw is processed in the computer.

That is the beginning.

The next "period" (of b&w freedom and creations) is not relying on the "already automated/processed b&w" but to have the picture in your mind (mindset ?) then do what is necessary, to obtain that (with colored filter/aperture/over-under-exposure/etc.).

This can take some time.

I still learn 😌 to have this freedom.
