I inherited a 1.4/50 Summilux, a 2.8/28 Elmarit, and a 4/135 Elmar M lenses. The 50 and 135 mm are a breeze to focus on the SL2, however the 28 mm is very difficult to focus with the SL2. The ERF picture appears to have much more grain with the 28mm.

Anyone else have this issue?

Only if a lens is stopped-down a lot, or in very low light. Things can get grainy past f:5.6, and the extended depth of field means that images don't snap into focus as much. Do you have this issue at 2.8?

Yes, you are right. It is when it is stepped down with that extended depth of field that it is the worse. However, it is still not nearly as clear with the 50 and 135 mm even at 2.8

What is an ERF picture? Just curious.

LOL I'm use to the M with a rangefinder. I guess it should be EVF- electronic view finder ;)
