TK! Posted July 19, 2022 Share #1 Posted July 19, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Last year's summer GAS hit me hard and when consciousness came back there was this Anti-Q in my hands. I do not have any SLR history, I came from Leica DLux-3, X1 (loved it), X2, X116, Q and Q2. The goal was to supplement my loved Q and not to cannibalize it. After one year good news, it worked! Q2 | Anti-Q Weight: 718g | 1992g Length: 9cm | 43cm Aperture: 1.7 | 11 (fixed!) Min Dist: 30cm | 600cm Purpose: Family | Nature, mainly birds Love: intense | Workhorse 11 as fixed aperture sounds like a joke but in practice the high ISO values of the R5 allow to partly compensate this. Bokeh needs to be discussed separately. At the same time for 800mm the setup is really lightweight. In former times I made several attempts with my Zeiss Diascope telescope and the Q for digiscoping, but the RF800mm is magnitudes better concerning picture quality and handling (of course not a surprise). Whereas the pictures from the Q still knock me out some features of the Canon are also amazing, above all the autofocus, autofocus modes, overall speed of the camera, and GPS-logging that you do not need to think about it simply works. I had to send this out to the forum. I could not resist. Sorry if it is bothering you. But would make me happy if it puts a smile on your face... 🙂 Best wishes TK Welcome, dear visitor!
