the first photo really says it all    -     why not leave it at that

i don't think it's a good idea to photograph someone eating to see whether the eating implement is being used correctly, spasmodically or whatever

I shot a series because so many images such as the 1st look static. I preferred to convey a sense of movement and intent in the way I did. There was no intention to be critical of the subjects use of chopsticks. That is all in the eye of the viewer.

the first is not static

the first is quiet and really suggests a small meal, just as the title "promises"

 

but that's how it is - again and again a matter of seeing want to see and really see
