Hi!

I just can't find any recommendations about the question in the manual.

So, how much time shutter could stay cooked before it should be released?

As I know when rewinding the shutter with the lever you make spring tension and this long state could cause any further issues (spring stretching, etc)?

It probably doesn't make any difference to the springs:

Some people claim uncocked might be better for the shutter curtains:

I don't worry about it.

Don't worry shutter cocked or not in Leica camera.

Never seen myself recommendation in Leitz/Leica manual.

The springs in shutter mechanism design can handle the two states very well.

Yes it's ok to leave cocked or un-cocked with your M shutter, but it's not so for other makes so worth checking. For example mechanical Nikon shutters should be un-cocked for long term storage.
