SchokkerJJ Posted September 13, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 13, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello all, I am a new user to this forum. My name is Jeroen Schokker. I have been photographing for a while, Pentax Spotmatic, DSLR but took the plunge and bought a M6 classic with a cron IV 35mm. I am practicing with my new body and lens. These are my first pictures from a roll of velvia 50. I scanned them in with my dual scan IV. The lens really has a character My M6 with 35mm cron: nr1: nr2: nr3 shot at f2 and with some of my own motion blur and ....vignetting, but I like the 3d effect of it Greetings, Jeroen

plasticman Posted September 13, 2007 Share #3 Posted September 13, 2007 Hi Jeroen! Welcome to the forum! First of all, your M6 is a beautiful camera! And the lens also, of course - but the body looks as though human hands have never come near it. Congratulations! I especially like shot number 5 - the low angle and golden section composition with the dramatic clouds is truly excellent! Look forward to seeing more! //mani

luigi bertolotti Posted September 13, 2007 Share #7 Posted September 13, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Welcome to our forum !!! And welcome also in Italy ... good place to start using your wonderful M6; and beware of your pockets... just a 35mm at the moment .... ? #5 & #2 are excellent ; #4 is a nice scene which needs a little adjusting (small tilt... so verticals are really so... little thing so easy after scanning... and the pic looks better in 1 minute...) gmaurizio Posted September 15, 2007 Share #11 Posted September 15, 2007 Good shots and nice kept camera. I love the velvia look, but will shy from it when shooting blondes or redheaded caucasian women. It is just not too flattering... Other than that, good work.
