HeinzX Posted June 6, 2022 Share #1  Posted June 6, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yesterday we had a thunderstorm. A victim of it was this tiny insect - app. 3mm long, which I do not know the name of it. The photo was taken with SL2 and a special lens of Canon named MP-E 65 which allows magnification up to 5 times the natural size, but without AF, . A tripod would have made ir easier, but it was not possible in this place. If someone knows the name of the insect, please let me know.  Welcome, dear visitor! pop Posted June 7, 2022 Share #3  Posted June 7, 2022 Looks like https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phyllobius_virideaeris I used my favorite search engine to find "kleiner grüner gestreifter käfer". This brought up at least 2 matching pictures, one of them with the name of the bug.
