Where to post about Leica MD (NOT MDa neither MD2)

Welcome to the Forum.

Appropriate places might be in the section dealing with film "M" cameras. Even tho the the MD, etc. are not listed in the name for the section.

You might also write in the Collectors & Historica section because these are models which are no longer being produced.

Is there a reason why you did not include M1's? An MD is essentially an M1 without a viewfinder. An M1 also shows both 35 mm & 50 mm frame lines at the same time. The frame lines move to correct for parallax when any lens fitted with focusing cams is focused.

MD's have the capacity to accept transparent plastic marker strips. M1's do not.

Writing about 1 or all of these cameras could be interesting.
