You know there is some anima in them, with your background. 😇 Yes, it's true. I purchased a Leica Q2M and given my aging physical limitations, that's become my camera of choice. I can't justify keeping both, I'm simplifying. If I were a pro, perhaps it would be different. It's a beautiful camera that has given me tons of satisfaction.

wilfredo Posted July 5, 2022 Author Share #22 Posted July 5, 2022 Just as a follow up, I have been in touch with Leica in Solmns, and they have reassured me that I have the latest sensor on my camera. As I said earlier, they replaced the sensor. Thankfully, they did so with their upgraded sensor. All is good.

I put the first SD card in the camera, and it is still working as it should. She fires up when I turn her on. She's back to her old self!!! The moral of this story, don't mess with the software on your camera unless you absolutely know what you're doing. Funny thing though, when I unboxed the camera, since I had ready for sale, it looked as beautiful as ever, and I thought to myself, "do I really want to let go of this camera???" It's actually a very safe procedure BUT you have to be very careful not to change any settings in the service menu. Just look at the numbers and get back out. I've done it numerous times with three different M9M bodies. Glad you solved the problem. Edited July 23, 2022 by fotografr
