If nobody complains, Leica will not realise it as a (big) problem. So everybody should tell them.

That is a perfectly good idea. How? Do we send them the link to this thread? Make a new one with as many of us experiencing the problem adding a “Me too” to it” The white frame #metoo movement? 😛

What black frames?

I mentioned it in a previous post: the M10r produces occasionally black frames in the same way the M11 produces the white ones. Again, they are extremely underexposed frames. Same settings, apart from using slow continuous mode

There are such newfangled things as mail. Leica can receive and even read such things. Just give it a try.

update on my end / this is the errant underexposed frame (at 1/100th). after updating 1.6 the issue resurfaced. Tested few shots today and there it was. I realised about it as was using live view and since it was exposed in manual and looked ok I was surprised to see all dark in the image review. so I took a quick sequence and there it was, few frames were at 1/100th while the rest at 1/24th as was set on the dial. VERY DODGY!

so the issue was back and I did as leica suggested, saved user profiles in card,  reset camera, reloaded profiles.

since then I was no longer able to replicate the issue which seems to be gone again.

it would appear this is something that happens during the FW updates, something is corrupted but all manageable with the reset. I will keep posted if things worsen,

maybe the overexposed issue is the same thing, reverse. maybe a camera reset solves it?
