Hey guys!

My name is Kevin, I'm 29 and I come from France (so, please forgive me in the case I make mistakes)!

After days of hesitations, and considering my options (which model? How much am I ready to spend on a camera?), it became obvious to me that as beautiful as they are, the Leica cameras were simply beyond my reach. At least, that is what I believed until I saw their compact cameras and particularly the D-Lux 7. 

I am indeed a beginner and until now, I've always used my smartphone to take pictures. But I eventually grew tired of it and I also wanted to learn how to use a real camera. Now you get it: my choice fell on the Leica D-Lux 7, which is (according to what I've heard) just perfect for beginners such as me.

Indeed, I do watch various tutorials on Youtube and I also hope to get some good advices from more experienced users on this Forum.
