My one and only camera has been an M6 for the last twelve years. My interest in photography ebbs and flows, but this most recent tide has finally gotten me to develop my own film. I acquired some Ixmoo reloadable cassettes, which I think are really cool and seem like they will last forever.
I have been pondering buying an older R body camera for some telephoto and macro work. Are any of the R bodies compatible with the brass reloadable cassettes?

I was fortunate enough to have one that has the notch to open and close the cassette. The first time I did it, it felt like an “ah-ha” moment, thinking, “that’s why the baseplate closes like that”.
