How To Determine 35mm Summicron ASPH Version?

Hi All:

 

I'm trying to determine what version I have of the 35mm Summicron ASPH.  The serial number is 3919540.  Is there a published guide for this?

Do you have a clip-on plastic hood or a screw-on metal hood?

Also listed in Erwin Puts' various guides, including the Leica Chronicle.  The Summicron ASPH, which you have, is simultaneously referred to as the version 1 ASPH or the version 5 Summicron.  It was produced from 1996 until the version 2 ASPH (version 6 Summicron) was released in 2016. Yours was produced in 2001. The updated ASPH, as noted above, has the new metal hood design as well as some other minor internal tweaks (aperture blades, etc).
