The woman on the left is a « Jamu » seller. Jamu is a traditional herbal medicine from Indonesia.

The woman on the right sells dried flowers arrangements that people deposit on the graves of their loved ones.

Hi Stuart. Thank you. This kiosk is just at the bottom of the stairs on the ground floor. I made this image from the floor above. Its a great vantage point. Regards. Carl.

Hi Brent. Thank you. . When i began making photos in the market, i shot exclusively in black and white with the M10 Monochrome. Many times I hesitated to shoot in color. Then one day I decided to make photos in color. And to my surprise i discovered that ( to use your words) : «  there's a place for color photography after all. 😉Many of the women still wear traditional clothing which is colourful and have a lot of texture. This helps. The kiosk is on the ground level at the bottom of the stairs. I took the photo from the floor above.  Merci. Carl.
