A beautiful image and a good illustration of the fragility of life. Throughout time there have always been events capable of mass destruction of human life; earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, plagues, wars, famines. Life is precious and not to be taken for granted. Enjoy it while you have it.

Esthetically beautiful, text explanation is chilling

Thank you Stuart. Living here in Java, on the ring of fire, I am often reminded of the fragility of our lives.

I learn from the people’s « acceptance » and resilience. Regards. Carl.

Thank you so much Brent. to add to your sage words, here is a quote from Seneca: « Begin at once to live, and count each seperate day as a seperate life.» Carl.
