I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like a Wenonah Prism with a graphite hull and a Werner Algonquin paddle in carbon fiber.

I have a Bell Magic in graphite - seeing this photo makes me want to go paddling, even though it is still on the cold side in these parts.  As long as you don't fall out of the boat, it would be tolerable.

It's also still cold here. The temperature when I shot this was around 0° C (32° F). I think you're correct about his boat. It's the only one like it I've seen on our lake.

Lovely.  On the rare winter days where I was stationed in ND during which the wind dropped to little or nothing, the temperature also seemed to drop precipitously.  BTW:  I'd have loved to have a carbon fiber canoe as a kid doing portages in NH with Old Town wood and canvas canoes, which seemed to be tethered to the center of the earth.
