Bobitybob Posted March 28, 2022 Share #1 Posted March 28, 2022 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Not sure if any one else has spotted this, I've searched the site but can't find any mention https://shop.lomography.com/uk/digitaliza-max-scanning-kit. For the cost it looks like a good way to manage digital film scanning. If you don't want to use a phone then they do a cheaper version to use with a copy stand or tripod. bdolzani Posted March 28, 2022 Share #2 Posted March 28, 2022 I use the original Digitaliza and like it for 35mm. With my own copy stand.
250swb Posted March 28, 2022 Share #3 Posted March 28, 2022 (edited) It isn't what some people take it to be, it's simply a stand for an iPhone, it can't be adapted for a DSLR/mirrorless camera, so its very much limited. Correct, it does say do not use a digital camera on that stand. It looks awfully flimsy. I'm curious about the 35mm mask with the roller. I tried pulling an uncut roll through the original 35mm mask, and while it could be done, it wasn't easy. It's not really made for that, and the negatives were so very dusty. Lying on the floor, etc. It was messy. I'm interested in the roll/pull through method because reloading the mask for each set of 6 frames is slower by comparison to an uncut roll. However this new one looks very flimsy and plastic.
