Advertisement Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Hi alainD, Take a look here Leica 120 TS, sample pictures?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
alainD Posted March 24, 2022 Author Share #22 Posted March 24, 2022 This is what I've done with the 120 macro, with stitching 3 pictures taken without paying too much attention to nodal point and other things. Can I expect better using then120 shift lens? Alain Welcome, dear visitor! John McMaster Posted March 24, 2022 Share #23 Posted March 24, 2022 I wouldn't think so at that distance with that sort of subject. You may with something like architecture with rigid lines, but only when closer... john

Maybe too extreme for me! But I see the point, you can really control the plane of focus with that lens...

Sailronin Posted March 29, 2022 Share #31 Posted March 29, 2022 (edited) Hi, On my Flickr page (David Reams) I have an album with 120mm T-S images. So far there are only 5 or 6 as I just received the lens a couple of months ago and it sees limited use. The image below was taken with the SL2-S and the S adapter but others in the album were shot with an S(006). Welcome, dear visitor! Sailronin Posted March 29, 2022 Share #32 Posted March 29, 2022 (edited) This one was shot with the S(006). I was trying get the foreground and my wife in focus, which worked however I did lose a bit of the background sharpness. This was shot at f5.6 (wide open) for that lens. Welcome, dear visitor! This is exactly what I was hopping one could achieve with this lens. I just placed an order (I found one at a price I could not pass). It should arrive soon! Sailronin Posted March 30, 2022 Share #34 Posted March 30, 2022 The lens movements are very limited compared to a view camera, or even a field camera but better than no movements at all. I actually purchased an SL2-S so that I could use this lens with live view for more critical focus. Now I'm actually enjoying the SL2-S very much so am adding L mount lenses to compliment the S lenses with adapter.

Sailronin Posted April 13, 2022 Share #38 Posted April 13, 2022 It's a wonderful, if somewhat specialized piece of kit. A lot of fun to use. Good job with your first few shots.
Sailronin Posted April 17, 2022 Share #39 Posted April 17, 2022 Another T-S 120mm shot albeit on the SL2-S. Shot wide open (f5.6) with a slight tilt to get depth of focus.
