I have a question: The blue markings on the sheep, are those to indicate the owner.?

I have a question: The blue markings on the sheep, are those to indicate the owner.? Thank you! In answer to your question, the blue markings on these sheep do indicate ownership. You can tell because the markings are on their shoulders. If the markings were just on their hind quarters it would be an indication to the farmer that a ram had serviced that ewe. They apply paint to the belly of the ram 🐏 which transfers to each ewe that he services.
