Good day,

One of my batteries for my Q2 won't take a charge.  I mostly use my M240 and a couple of batteries which have been flawless from new. I am very surprised one of the Q2 batteries shows an error code?  Any suggestions and does any one know if Leica will replace?  The battery is from 2019 and seldom used.  Sods law, I am in the mountains in Switzerland for 10 days and now one battery....oh well.

Many thank

Do you have the Leica charger with you? I found a battery that came with my Leica SL 601 around the same time couldn't be charged with a NiteCore charger after a period of non use. It did charge up again with the Leica charger, though not to full capacity.

Hello Alan, I have the Nitecore with me and it charges the other battery fine.  The Leica charge (bulky for travel) is in London.  Do you think I simply need to wait till I am back and use the Leica charger?  Very odd-- the Nitecore shows code EE EE and I left it for an hour and no change.  Many thanks Ed

Yes, I think you’ll be able to bring it back to some extent when you get home.

This has helped a bit with the portability of the Leica charger, but I still prefer the Nitecore for travel.

I had the Nitecore, too. One of my batteries could be charged, another not showing code EE EE. After about one year both > EE EE. The Leica charger functioned well over all the time. That means Nitcore ex and hop.
