Because then you would have threads here complaining about the clunk when the shutter opens at switch on, as there are threads complaining about the M11. nicci78 Posted February 18, 2022 Share #4  Posted February 18, 2022 (edited) Because the glass in front of sensor is way stronger than shutter blades. That’s why mirrorless cameras left it open.
