Bobby Posted February 12, 2022 Share #1 Posted February 12, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) I do a lot of long exposure (6+ minutes). I'm tempted by the Q2 monochrome but it can only do 2 minute long exposure, and because NR can't be turned off, I couldnt take multiple photos and stack them up. The original monochrom can do up to 4mins but I cannot find it and the M10 mono is too expensive. Does anyone know if I can disable NR with the M246? If not, are there alternatives as far as B&W sensors?

With M246 long exposure is conditional on using low ISO, it is all explained in the manual. i believe M11 is first model with option to disable Noise Reduction, M11M is currently on the drawing board.

Page 73 of the M10M manual (English) talks about noise reduction. No option to turn off. M11 must be first m.
