Changing File Names on the M11 can only applied to ONE letter (software bug?)

I've been experimenting renaming my M11 files, and even if i change only the first letter, when i change between User Profiles and then go back to the newly changed one,
the camera ignores the Re-naming i have given it and reverts to what it previously was.

I have tried many different ideas, but it strangely does NOT hold the name i am giving to the files.  To me, it does seem like there is some kind of bug in the naming structures.

After changing the name of your user profile, you may wish to use the 'Save as profile' item of the 'User profile' menu and save the profile under the new name accordingly, if you did not do it already.

Thanks, i am actually talking about the ability to rename the "Picture" Files. The factory Default is L1XXXXX.  The L stands for Leica. They offer the ability to change the First letter, say to an M...   but what i discovered is after renaming and saving the new name, when i change Profiles and then go back to the Profile whose pictures i renamed, the camera reverts back to the L0XXXXX and does NOT recall the change.

I am curious if this feature is working for any M11 owners?

When selecting Camera Settings > Edit File Name in the main menu, which three first letters are you seeing? Just to understand.

Thanks, the factory default is L00XXXX. If you change it to say M00XXXX and then Save it and then change Camera profiles and then go back to the same profile that you changed the file name in, on my M11, it REVERTS back to L00XXXXX.

My curiosity is if this is a unique situation to me or a bug in the firmware.  Thanks.
