Brightin Star 28mm f/2.8

If you ever wanted to try a tiny MS-Optics like lens, but better built from what I have read, and a lot cheaper, this one was fun. 
Does have an odd field curvature though. My review on 35mmc.

Susan Meiselas visits her first photo project, housemates on Irving Street when she was a student at Harvard for a year in the 1970s, currently on exhibit at the Fogg Museum.  These pictures remained at Carpenter Center as a final project.  The next year yielded Carnival Strippers.

If you look at Meiselas' "boarding house" snapshots above and then open a copy of "Carnival Strippers," the step up in openness and intimacy is amazing.  But the method is the same.  In each case she was interacting with people who entered into a dialog about why they were there and what they wanted out of life.  And that narrative is an important part of the story.
