Ventured out with an M11-D, disorientating, I hadn't realised just how addicted to chipping I have become!

Not art but here's some snaps. All summilux 35mm FLE mk1

Wow, were you there when they were shooting? Must have been quite a support operation!

Unfortunately, I was not on the set in any manner. Just that the filming crew was in town and filming here at this site, which was 40km out of town.

Possibly worth saying that I took 56 shots on the M11D, half were wide open. Only one shot was incorrectly focussed which I would have picked up with chimping no other photographic issues.

Not bad I think. For critical portraiture I’d never take a single shot so that’s pretty reassuring.

DNGs via LR and silver efex. Always 60mp.

Ok, thank you.

I am loving the 16mp resolution, ( test printed to A2 - A1 with no issues ), I may occasionally go to 36mp but very rarely find the 60mps are warranted for what I need to do. I'm liking the 3 resolution choice.

Interesting, particularly for something trying to be an approximation of B&W film that is probably going to be the sweet spot unless one is trying to do something approaching medium format (especially with the M11M).

I just find it hard to lose the ability to crop despite having hardly cropped at all! Also like to have my files capable of 3' x 4' although not yet printed that large!
