How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Files” and s

Just got my $300 Tele Elmar 135 F4 - first pics! WOW - look at the 100% crop! This baby is sharp sharp sharp. Sorry about so many mountain pics - but it is the view right out my back door - so kinda hard not to take advantage... I'll be shooting more with it today, and maybe passing on the APO 3.4????

First image, first outing with my M11 and 90 Elmar C. Zone focused at F8 from the hip. 
My 90 Elmar won’t focus/align with the rangefinder, have to use live view.

I got a great deal on a trade for my M10 and 35 Summicron asph V1. Kept my 50 lux and had this 90 Elmar C for years…

So far, really liking the M11!

Wedding

 

Snapshot from a wedding that I stumbled upon on my way. The sounds of the wedding band were pleasant, and all I had to do was raise my hands holding the camera high in the air, to capture the wedding atmosphere beyond the fence.
The first image is a panoramic cut from the DNG file.
The second image is from the jpeg file reduced in the camera to 36 MP, which photographed exclusively in black and white.
