How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Files” and s

First shots with the new 135 APO Telyt - and I immediately got lens flair! I had read about that with this lens - but didn't think I would see it after only 5 minutes of use, lol. Top is the APO Telyt and below is the Tele Elmar. I suspect that the different optics and longer hood help the Tele Elmar avoid flaring. I even waited 30 minutes for the sun to move a bit just to see if there was any difference (there wasn't). I wasn't shooting the bush - but the mountain above that - so this was just out of the blue. i will be watching to see how much this comes up in normal shooting...

Shot with the "4th" lens of the TRI-ELMAR-M 1:4 28-35-50 ASPH.

Between the position 50mm and 28mm you can go into “macro mode” up to approx. 40cm. My lens is a silver one that was only available in the 1st series. 

There are sources that say that only the 2nd series has this 4th lens. But there are also statements that the silver lenses are already based on the new inner workings of the 2nd series. Finally, the statement that the inner workings of the 1st and 2nd series are the same (except for the roller for the 28mm light frame)
