LrC display artifact related to Lens Corrections

These images are screen grabs of the same file displayed in Lightroom Classic 11.1. using Camera Raw 14.1 on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7. The file is with the camera, a Leica M10M, capped at ISO 50000. At first I thought something was wrong with the sensor. The second image is the exact same file with Lens Corrections disabled. I..e., the default Lens Profile Correction has been turned off. This occurs with the two different lenses I have so far tried. When profile correction is turned on and the artifact displays, it does not appear on the exported image. IOW, it seems to be display only.

It looks similar to the effect that the Clarity slider in ACR can create when I was experimenting with a grainy film image. The higher the Clarity slider the more it tries to organise grain, or in this case 50000 ISO digital noise, and this forms patterns. I've tried a print of the film image and seen no pattern, but as you say it's limited to the display, however given a screen is how most images are seen nowadays it can be a problem.
