in addition to the processing, I LOVE the image. Did you shoot it with your 35/1.4 pre asph? Lovely.

Thank you very much! The photo was taken with the 50mm Summilux pre-ASPH, which I like just as much as the 35mm. I also like the composition, but the white roof edge on the far left of the image annoyed me so much that I have now cropped it out. I've posted the new version in the B&W thread:

How does RNI handle grain in Lightroom? If I recall profiles do no contain grain data (Which I honestly prefer for digital files not baking them in at start of click). Your shots are fantastic in this thread, and I love the colors these are bringing through.

Thank you very much! It is correct that the profiles cannot contain grain. Each RNI profile has a corresponding preset that contains the profile + a suggested amount of grain. There is also a Toolkit with different amounts of grain that you can put on the profiles. I have favorited the three most used grain presets (100, 200 and 400 medium) + 0 grain, so I usually just choose a profile + one of these.

Perfect, thank you for the response! They look to be great starting points. Might have to pick this up. I have casually used a few others in the past, although presets seems to have larger impact on peoples skin to help reproduce overall "look"

Great shots again, really enjoyed them from page 1 to 18!

Though I like what @evikne is doing, personally I get tired of choosing ( though sometimes playing around can be fun). I therefore use basically two simulations only: one color, one b/w.

color: visual flow pastel (overcast for indoor lighting)

b/w: RNI ilford delta 100 (no additional grain)
