AnnalisaJ Posted December 19, 2021 Share #1 Posted December 19, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I shoot with a Leica q2. When I open the DNG files in either Capture One or Lightroom (both latest versions) I get a vertical line left of the image. This line doesn’t not show when I look at the images before importing them. I work on a MBP 2021 M1 Max i disabled the Hardware acceleration (based on another tip) but it didn’t solve the issue. I know it’s not the camera. Any suggestions or troubleshooting ? thank you. see sample below. (Zoom in it will be very evident) THANK YOU! Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 Hi AnnalisaJ, Take a look here Line through image in Capture One and Lightroom. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted December 20, 2021 Share #2 Posted December 20, 2021 Looks like a memory error to me. How do you download your files from the camera?
nicci78 Posted December 20, 2021 Share #3 Posted December 20, 2021 The image shown by the camera before importation is a thumbnail. Not the real DNG What you are seeing now with the line is the actual DNG processed by LR or C1 You got either a memory card problem (switch to another one) or a line of pixels is dead. Ask Leica to solve the problem with a factory remapping.
nicci78 Posted December 20, 2021 Share #4 Posted December 20, 2021 Try to force a pixel mapping with latest Q2 firmware. It can perform automatically and regularly a pixel mapping. Sadly the more the pixels, the more defective ones can show up. 47MP sensor for Q2 and SL2 are not immune to that.
ben446 Posted December 30, 2021 Share #5 Posted December 30, 2021 Also try a different card reader.
