Yes thank you ever so much. Imagine the stories each and every one of these working trucks could tell from an age, culture and environment long gone. Superb use of your Monochrom and simple lenses! I also just had the immense pleasure of viewing your travel website showcasing many of the places you have visited of recent, and again I was so impressed with your approach to capture and photograph the places, people and differing environments around the world. I was reminded of the importance to ensure one opens up the aperture to capture all of the focal points so that the complete scope of the area you photographed is seen. While I have been at this photography hobby for too many decades, at times I shoot wide open with F1 and F1.4 apertures to capture mood yet the overall flavor and view was lost, so thank you for the reminder to stop down as well. Absolutely lovely photography and I recommend a visit to your web site to all.

Luke_Miller Posted November 18, 2021 Author Share #8 Posted November 18, 2021 (edited) Thanks for all the kind words. Even though the location is a working trucking company the old trucks were clearly a collection. It is not a salvage yard - the trucks were generally complete and many were from distant states. It is a popular spot for photographers. It was my first time there, but the fifth for the guy I was with. The truck brands that were represented there were familiar save one - a Brockway. Had to look it up after I got home. They have tractors too. Welcome, dear visitor!
