Can we use a voigtlander prominent to M mount adaptor on a M4?

Hi guys, 

I recently bought a M4 and tried to use my voigtlander Ultron 50 f2 lens with it using a KIPON prominent 50 adaptor and found out it was not possible to lock with the bayonet lock. The bayonet button is too thick which stop the adaptor to sit properly. (pls see photo) Appreciate if anyone can help me with this issue.

Well, the obvious solution is to grind a bit off the adapter...

I agree with Jaap, it's not much you have to remove and only in the quadrant where the adapter mounts. Tape everything up and take a file to it

Och. Major fail on the part of the mfgr. I wonder WTF they were thinking. I'd send them this photo and ask.   Then I'd return the adapter for a full refund and buy a proper M mount lens or even a screw mount lens with an LTM-M adapter.
