Congratulations to Gydo, Christoph and Cecilia for well deserved wins - if I understand the situation correctly, this is a Dobrusskin 1,2 and 3, so a new record has been set !! 📸😎👍 📸😎👍 📸😎👍

Congratulations to newcomer Gydo Meijer for first place and well done to Christoph and Cecilia for second and third!

I'm curious to know which film Christoph @christoph_d used for his lovely picture because it's likely to be something a little unusual.^_^

Pete.

Pete, I am sorry to have to disappoint you, but I've been using a rather "normal" film: Portra 400🙄. I hope that Andy will have the time to post the equipment list to show all cameras, lenses and films used!

Robert, thank you. I'm afraid I've passed on the Leica virus 🤖... and have to look forward to even more competition in Athens 😶

What a fabulous result! Congratulations Gydo on your inspiring and well thought out photo! And to Christoph and Cecelia too of course. Christoph, you are an inspiration for your dedication and the generous way you share your enthusiasm for photography.

Am I the only one to notice - all three are from the Nederlands and there is now a fourth Dobrusskin in the club?

Warning shot for the Athens trophy!

As they say when you want to buy a property: Location, Location, Location!

Congratulations, Gydo and Christoph!
I had a nice time meeting up with several of you in Scheveningen and enjoyed seeing all entries.

The Dobrusskin-clan is indeed slowly growing larger, @Sandokan 👀

oooooooh. Are Christophe and Veronique about to become grandparents or parents-in-law? :) That would be lovely and belittling to have a toddler beat us all.

In the international section in the forum, there are many good photographers coming out of NL. Must be something to do with "say cheese"  :)

@christoph_d I am hoping to get my tank tomorrow and will be able to develop the B&W negatives this weekend. Unless the pizzas take precedence and I get a batch of orders for pickup (my latest toy ... a pizza oven and a recipe for Neopolitan Margherita, which had the neighbours knocking on my door last weekend)

Indeed, the average age of challenge participants suddenly dropped by a few decades 😁

… and when can we try that Pizza Margherita🤤

Next time you drive across the border from Germany to Switzerland - just turn left, up the hill and around the corner. I am literally just a Km from the border.

Aw man…. Seems I just missed out on some pizza.

They’ve become grandparents last august. The little girl is doing just fine and being prepped into becoming a little photographer (if she wants to of course, but let’s be honest… being a Dobrusskin, not becoming one isn’t really an option 😜). Until then, she’s doing a great job acting as my muse and most used model.
