If you happen to have both the current 90mm Summicron and an older one, then please do, I will be very interested in a direct comparison.

Interesting. I must say I'm impressed.
Any post-processing of any kind? Or in-camera adjustments?

auto button in LR

the GFX ones are obviously not ISO 100, and those i cropped a bit to kind of match the framing

One thing that may have escaped unnoticed in this test is how accurately those lenses focus with the rangefinder. An SL2, with its state-of-the-art autofocus system and high-resolution electronic viewfinder, would hide any front/back focus that the lens might exhibit when focusing manually. But I guess in the case of the 90mm Summicron the difference might not be significant, since the current APO doesn't have a floating element. Actually, as far as I see it has a surprisingly simple optical formula for a modern Leica lens. Possibly because they could find nothing to improve to it. :)

Thank you for taking the time to do this. It's really interesting.

yes but anyways these are all manual focus lenses, i don't have or use any SL Af lens ;) they're too big and i like aperture rings
