My CL decided that all its native lenses were fixed on f 1.0 and severely underexposed all images today. Manual lenses were OK. Battery out did not help, nor did cleaning the lens contacts. A reset leaving the user profiles intact cleared the issue.

It would be interesting to know what caused the camera's computer to get so confused, at least the reset worked to fix it.

Well that was strange.   Hopefully a one off, but if I remember correctly your CL has recently had a trip to Wetzler, fingers crossed it doesn't end up having to pop back😉.

I put it away in good state at night and picked it up like this in the morning. It was switched on, but on auto-shutoff. I suspect the Sigma 100-400 that I had just mounted. When I mounted it on my TL to check it first updated, then gave a Lens Error message and then functioned normally. I then put the 55-135 and 18 on the CL but it was still in crazy mode, then I reset  it and it recovered after about a second after switching on again.
