Joking aside, I have a VERY vague memory that Pentax introduced curved filters a l--o--n--g time ago. This would have been early 1970s. I think the idea was to reduce distortion, but may also have had the benefit of reducing ghost reflections like the OP's. If I get a few minutes I will try a web search for them.

I had a quick web trawl for pentax curved filters - apparently they were called "Pentax Ghostless Filters". There are quite a few links for that if you feel like having a nostalgic wallow, the most informative that I found quickly came from a Pentax users' forum:

It seems that vintage Pentax fans are as obsessive as we are!

To save you looking it up, it appears that they were made in 49mm only, and the curvature of the glass matched the shape of the front element of the standard Takumar 50 and 55mm lenses. They were uncoated. The general opinion seems to be that it looked like a good idea, but didn't really work any better than anti-reflective coatings. They were expensive to make and - in theory - you would need one to match each lens, so they soon died out. Strangely they don't seem to have attracted cult status, as there are some available online at less-than-crazy prices.

Surely the Noctilux was designed for portraits? 

I don't wish to be over-critical and there is good composition. Try the same shot using any old lens at f/11 and it is a great picture. So, sorry, I don't like it. Was it worth paying for a Noctilux to capture a shot that is 95% out of focus?

Now I am going to retreat under the covers as an anticipated load of abuse comes in from lovers of wide open lenses.

The image taken is with the .95 variety so I can say from experience the filter can cause reflections.
