Which is the most regarded 3rd party M mount lens between 21mm ~ 28mm, f2.8 or wider

I have ZM 25mm f2.8 as my default lens on Leica M 240 in the very wide range. It is sharp, light, and smooth selective focus effect.

I tried 7Artisan 28mm f1.4 and TTartisan 21mm f1.5, though excellent, didn't find their f1.4~f2 good enough to replace ZM 25mm. Now the newly released Voigtlander 28mm Ultron f2 II seems attractive, but I can't find objective data for comparison.

Yes, I know 21mm ~ 28mm might be too wide for some people for apple to apple comparison. But  am sure some people have done similar exercise.

Impossible to answer as each lens has its own strengths and weaknesses, and  each photographer has his own demands and criteria, and so has each subject.

As side answer 🙃,

sorry from my experience of long time Leica M user.

Leica has some 28mm lenses to try out, so many in second hand 'as new' as many Elmarit, Summicron for example,

the good thing is "trying those costs less than buying 3rd parties" when the lens doesn't suit my need.

I would second the ZM 25/2.8 lens as being exceptionally good. For some reason, I also have the 24/3.4 Elmar, and there is virtually no difference between them. I also have the 28/2.8 Elmarit ASPH v1, and it is the best 28 I have ever owned. I had the 21/2.8 Elmarit ASPH and the ZM 18/4, both excellent lenses. I did a comparison with the 18 SEM, and virtually no difference between them. The ZM was less problematic with filters. I sold the 18 and 21 ASPH when I acquired the WATE.
