Patrickxyz Posted June 27, 2021 Share #1  Posted June 27, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello out there, choosing the same settings for date and time on the M10-R and the SL2-S (GMT+1 Wetzlar), Daylight Saving Time on), the M10-R shows the correct time of 5:40 am and the SL2-S shows 6:40 am. Has anybody else encountered that phenomenon? Thanks, Patrick

Stef63 Posted June 28, 2021 Share #2  Posted June 28, 2021 (edited) I have a SL2 and M10 and M10M so I guess the same applies to an SL2S and M10R. I do not know if you are aware that the M and SL2 obtain the date/time in a complete different way.  The M can only automatically get the date/time via the GPS of the Visoflex and only if in the menu GPS is ON and in the date/time settings the toggle obtain date/time via GPS is also ON.  In that case the timezone will be greyed out.  If you do not have a Visoflex the time can only be set manually. The SL2 however obtains the date/time via Fotos app via Wifi.  In the date/time settings you must select VIA SMARTPHONE Is the above of any help to explain why the time on your M is correct and on the SL2S not?   Edited June 28, 2021 by Stef63
Patrickxyz Posted June 28, 2021 Author Share #3 Â Posted June 28, 2021 Stefan, thanks. Both cameras were manually set to the right time, but I needed to change the time zone after international travel and the problem started. I have connected the SL2-S now first time to the Foto app (an unstable experience) and changed the time zone again. That was sufficient to correct the wrong timing.
