A real (not toy lens in my use) 90mm at 225g ?

or this macro 90 in black (230g)

and so on ...

πŸ˜‰

Elmarit or Summarit-M lenses are great for size/weight but really nice rendering in my "kit".

Happy searching for your kit πŸ˜‡

Maybe you have the kit already, just kidding !

This is interesting about the 90 Tele Elmarit, I weighed my 90 Elmarit and it was 330gm, longer and more of a barrel I guess. I may have to look into a Tele Elmarit.

I am using the term "hipster kit" to personally define lenses that meet the parameters listed in the bullets. I am not calling anyone anything, or judging them for theirΒ choices.

I do not see the connection. How do the parameters relate to 'hipster' ?

Have you considered the Voigtlander Heliar 50mm f/3.5?
It is actually my favourite 50mm lens! Despite only f/3.5, it has a character I really like (and on my M9M probably 70% of the time).

I have. But it's slow and 209 grams πŸ˜‚ I would still bet that I end up owning one eventually!

Seen in my note, the winner ...from 1950

Elmar 3.5/5cm at 113g ...incredible good lens for such a small/light package.

the trio as combo light 35/50/90 for every M
