Popular Post knopfler1976 Posted June 3, 2021 Popular Post Share #1 Posted June 3, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been thinking about going back to analog during the pandemic. Last week as my trustworthy M9 turned 10-yr old, I bought a new M-A at Paris Rive Gauche. I popped in a roll of Portra160 and went out shooting casually. No metering. Just used Sunny 16. Not having to suppress the urge to check LCD while sitting down at a café was a great liberation. Then I finally dropped the roll at a local shop in my Vavin neighborhood. The results came out a few hours later. Wow... just wow... I forgot how beautiful films are. Now I regretted not doing it earlier.... ianman Posted June 3, 2021 Share #4 Posted June 3, 2021 Nice colours! Not my cup of tea photographically speaking but it's good work! I wish I could handle sunny-16 as well as you seem to be able to.

Not having to worry about over-exposure was very liberating.

Thanks for posting Josh Thanks Josh! Even though MP has built-in meter, you can also try out Sunny 16. It's really easy and gives consistent results. I love it!
