My batteries stay up. They lose one or two stripes after a month or two.  (SL and SL2). But they lose more inside the camera than on the shelf.

I had the same experience and happens when I leave Leica fotos app active. I was surprised as I had left my camera switch off. Then I did a test: I switch off the camera then open the app Leica fotos on my I phone and suddendly I have seen a blue light blinking in back of the camera! So I fully charge my battery switch off my camera but open Leica fotos and in 3/4 days battery drains again . So fully recarge battery camera switch off but app deactiveted after a week battery Ok.

FWIW, this idle battery drainage is happening to my SL2 also.  An idle week will drain a full battery to half.  All communication functions are set off.

My sony rx100 had same issue. Its not that uncommon as far as i know but would still take it to a dealer and ask.

The manual might call something out …

Did you all turn off the bluetooth on the camera? That solved the issue for me.
